Receiving a poor foetal diagnosis can be isolating.

Choosing to end your baby’s suffering through TFMR carries even more complex social and emotional weight.

Monika, one of our mams (and now LMC board member), received a book when she went abroad for TFMR. It was stories of families who had experienced different types of baby loss. She found the book comforting but found it was missing the exact situation she was in. She realised there was a lack of TFMR stories, particularly from an Irish perspective.

This inspired her to pursue this project with the help of the LMC community.

The book contains 15 stories of families who went through TFMR for foetal anomaly, both in Ireland and travelling abroad.
