The British Pregnancy Advisory Service provides TFMR for gestation under 24 weeks.

Travelling to BPAS

Your travel plans will depend on the clinic. One of our parents travelled to BPAS Richmond, London and had the following advice:

• The closest airport is Heathrow

• Taxi from Heathrow to Twickenham cost around £60 each way, or there is bus from Heathrow to Twickenham regularly

• The procedure cost approx £800 at the time

• They were placed in a separate waiting room (BPAS clinics also provide termination for non-medical reasons)

Bringing baby home

• Staff can provide you with a letter stating that you are the parents and that there is no risk on infection from your baby’s remains

• You will need a sealed opaque container which staff may also provide — ask before you go

• Aer Lingus is the recommended airline
