  • Little baby, forever small,

    most precious of them all

    No laugh, no cry,

    Never to see the sky,

    Know love or pain,

    Hear your own name

    Nor breathe the air;

    No burdens will you bear.

  • Only Sleeping

    Only sleeping,

    eyes fast shut,

    undisturbed by the world outside.

    Wrapped snugly in your blanket,

    peaceful, serene,

    not a thought for our kisses

    on your cold cheek,

    as we waited for a breath that never came;

    that would have come

    if you were only sleeping.

  • Little Stars Everywhere

    Although we had hoped to embrace, laugh and play

    My story was much different, you will see it in my name.

    A niece, a sister, a daughter and granddaughter to be,

    My faith was laid out, this world was not for me.

    In my weeks of growth there were happy times for us all,

    Following my passing family & friends broke the fall.

    Don't be sad that I could not be on earth, Remember the lessons you learned at my birth.

    It is our loved ones we lean on to soar this rough wave,

    Our grief was crippling but you helped us to be brave.

    Support and comfort comes in many shapes and forms,

    You know who you are, as does our little star.

    I watched it all unfold from above,

    Mom, Dad and Ríonnach feeling all the love.

    I am now a little angel and that star in the sky,

    To the ones who love me I am right by your side.

    My life was so short, but faith it has restored, I remind you all to live fully for life is to be adored.

    I will be there, never too far,

    a number of significance or a song in the car.

    My signs will be subtle but you will know it was me,

    Reiltin Biddy Gallagher, my soul was set free
